* The Inner Work of Ashtanga (1 hour)
In The Yoga Sutras, Patanjali wrote that the mind can be stilled by practice and dispassion (1.12). How does our practice on the mat actually work to still our mind? Where does dispassion fit in? This workshop will take a detailed and practical look at the technique and philosophy that can make our daily Ashtanga practice a powerful meditation.
Mysore is the traditional format for practicing Ashtanga Yoga. Led classes are a fantastic way to learn about the vinyasa, but Mysore-style is where you follow your own breath and deepen your focus and meditation skills. David leads one of the world’s largest mysore programs at his home studio.
* Breathing Moving System
Have you ever wondered how to really lift up? Unlock the magical superpower of strength with @davidrobsonyoga . More than just brute force, David articulates the subtleties of the breath, body and movement and makes these often elusive power moves accessible for all. The body is a breathing moving system that unites around challenging vinyasas to express true power. Find out what the inner work of vinyasa is all about under David's expert guidance.
* Perfecting the Fundamental Asanas
Take a deep and detailed look at the alignment and actions of Ashtanga’s opening sequence. Study the tradition of exact, counted vinyasas that connect each of the postures, and learn new ways to deepen the work and progression of your daily practice.
* Pain-free Backbending
Backbends don’t have to hurt. This workshop will explore the basic alignment and actions of Ashtanga’s Primary & Intermediate Series backbends. By learning correct technique for the poses, take the pain out of backbending and allow your body to safely go deeper into the postures.

The easiest way to get to Sayulita is to arrange a shuttle directly with the Hotels reception. Upon registration, more information will be provided.
Most businesses in Sayulita will accept US currency, some Canadian as well, most likely at a lower exchange rate than the official.
